September 3 | 6th Annual B3 Festival | Gaylord

Barbeque, beer and blues! Eagle 101.5 is once again hosting its B3 Festival on the slopes of Treetops Resort in Gaylord. The headliner for this year’s event is Forever Seger: The Silver Bullet Experience. Additional performers include Jon Archambault Band, Charlie Millard Band and The Crosscut Kings.

September 9 |  U.P. Fall Beer Festival | Marquette

The U.P. Fall Beer Festival in Marquette offers a selection of 600 craft beers from 80 Michigan breweries, plus an array of tasty local eats and a talented lineup of musicians.

September 9 | Comedy Hypnosis & Magic Show | Gaylord

September 14 | Paddle Antrim Festival | Antrim County

The annual Paddle Antrim Festival celebrates the amazing waterways of Northern Michigan with a two-day paddle event along the Chain of Lakes Water Trail. This choose-your-own-adventure paddle allows you to decide how far you want to travel. Exits are placed strategically along the route so you can explore up to 42 miles.

September 17 | Ironman 70.3 | Frankfort

Frankfort once again hosts Ironman 70.3 along the shores of Lake Michigan.

September 22 | Germanfest | Traverse City 

Experience an evening in Bavaria complete with dancing, brews and plenty of Gemütlichkeit for all. Chow down on brats, potato salad, kraut, rye bread and more while you mingle with old friends and make some new ones. The silent auction will benefit Trinity Lutheran School.

September 22-24 | Festival of the Book | Harbor Springs

Harbor Spring’s Festival of the Book is a multi-day gathering with 30-plus nationally known authors and illustrators. The festival highlights all things books during keynotes, luncheons and readings.

September 24 | Magic of the Night Sky | Curtis

Join Astrophotographer Shawn Malone for a stunning, ultra-HD presentation of the night sky in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. A long-time explorer of the night sky, Shawn will give you a look at magnificent aurora events, Milky Way landscapes, eclipses, comets, meteor showers and more.

September 27 | Brews & Blossoms | Kingsley

Head to Kingsley Local Brewing for an evening of brews and blossoms at this workshop hosted by Olds Floral & Design. Continuing the fun of Kingsley’s Downtown Harvest Festival, this workshop invites you to create a harvest bouquet perfect for the fall season.

September 27 |  Up North Pride Week | Traverse City

2023 marks the 10th year of Up North Pride Week, with a continued mission of making the region a more diverse, inclusive and safe place for everyone. The celebration runs from September 27–October 1, featuring a variety of events from a pool party to brunch and more.

September 30 | Rollie Tussing House Concert | Cadillac

If you’re searching for an intimate autumn concert, look no further. Gopherwood Concerts is hosting award-winning guitarist Rollie Tussing, who is known for his timeless classic and country blues, dewey-eyed tunes of the ‘20s, as well as songs of the nineteenth century. His own compositions are also influenced by those lonesome, haunted and abandoned melodies.
