Bringing communities together through music and locally-grown food, Benzie Bayou is back for 2023 with an exciting lineup of blues and zydeco artists and mouth-watering, southern-style dishes. This year’s event will be held at Elberta Waterfront Park from 4-11 p.m. on July 28. 

Benzie Bayou serves as Grow Benzie’s key annual fundraiser, with proceeds going toward its community initiatives and programs that support families throughout the Benzie County region.

Get ready for music by Joshua Davis & Friends, The Fabulous Horndogs, and K Jones & the Benzie Playboys. You’ll want to pack a blanket or lawn chairs for the evening, and be prepared for the weather—this event takes place rain or shine!

Music Lineup for Benzie Bayou 2023

The Fabulous Horndogs – 5 p.m.

This six-piece band has a well-known repertoire in rhythm and blues, rock and roll, swing and even reggae–with the new addition of their own original tunes. 

Joshua Davis & Friends – 7 p.m.

Over the past 20 years, Michigan-based Joshua Davis has honed an impressive range of skills in songwriting, guitar, and vocals. He plays a mixture of folk, blues, jazz, ragtime, and country–all in his own unique style.

K Jones & the Benzie Playboys – 9 p.m.

The Benzie Playboys have brought the roots sound of southwest Louisiana’s Creole, Cajun, and zydeco music to the Great Lakes region for the past two decades.
