Traverse City’s Cherry Fest returns with outdoor concerts, parades and air shows featuring the legendary Blue Angels.

Jacob’s Farm welcomes The Accidentals for a Fourth of July celebration with Patty Pershayla & The Mayhaps as the opening act. The farm will be closed to the public. Doors will open at 5 p.m.

July 3 | Luke Woltanski and his Dangerous Music Men | Maple City 

Check out this album release party for Luke Woltanski the Dangerous Music Man, who is publishing his fifth studio record. To send it off, he and his studio band are coming together for a special release concert at Broomstack Kitchen and Taphouse. Doors open at 5 p.m.

July 4 | Fourth of July on Mackinac Island | Mackinac Island

Celebrate Independence Day on Mackinac Island with a stone skipping contest for professionals and amateurs alike, followed by fireworks at dusk.

July 4 | Escanaba Fourth of July Celebration | Escanaba

Head to Ludington Park in Escanaba for a full slate of Fourth of July activities including a car show, petting zoo, live music, fireworks and more.

July 4-8 | Cadillac Freedom Festival | Cadillac

Cadillac’s Independence Day Celebration includes a 5K race, classic car show, Pork in the Park BBQ competitions and a fireworks display over Lake Cadillac.

July 5 | Garden Party | Traverse City 

Join the National Cherry Festival and The Botanic Garden for the first-ever Garden Party from noon to 6 p.m. Free activities include guided tours, a hike through fairy houses, a storybook walk featuring “hidden cherries,” bring your own blanket picnic, a fairy photo opp, and much more.
