Traverse City musician Joshua Davis is one of the top four contestants remaining on NBC’s The Voice. He performs two songs live on Monday, May 18 at 8/7 central and during Tuesday, May 19’s show the winner of The Voice will be announced. Joshua started off the show by turning two chairs in the blind auditions, being stolen from Team Blake by Coach Adam in the Battle Rounds and winning his Knockout performance to advance to the Live Playoffs. He has been saved by America each week by viewer votes, and was in the bottom three one week, but was instantly saved by America tweeting their support.
After working with Blake Shelton originally and then being stolen by Adam Levine, Joshua says that it’s been “an incredible gift” to be able to work with both of them. He describes Blake as someone who is good at easing nerves because he’s “disarming” and “makes you feel immediately at ease.” Whereas Adam, he’s “a lot more serious about the music.” Joshua is the last member of Adam’s team.

Voting begins at the conclusion of the show at 10 pm and runs for 12 hours ending at NOON on Tuesday, May 19. You can call, text, use The Voice app, vote online or buy Joshua’s singles of his performances on iTunes. iTunes offers an “iTunes Bonus” and if any of the artists’ eligible songs are in the top ten of the iTunes “Top 200 Singles Chart” the artist will receive the “iTunes Bonus” which multiplies iTunes votes for the song by 10.
