The Headlands International Dark Sky Park

Organized by Emmet County and with nearly 600 acres just west of Mackinac City, the Headlands Preserve provides two miles of stony waterfront along the Straits of Mackinac and five miles of trails for hiking, biking and XC skiing through magnificent hardwood forests.
