Recently, we checked in with the most recent winners of two MyNorthTickets giveaway contests. Northern Michigan residents Kayla K. and Rachel Stone entered contests on Facebook and won tickets to highly anticipated Northern Michigan summer events!
Kayla from the Houghton Lake area is the winner of two tickets to one of the area’s most talked about foodie events, Blues, Brews, and BBQ, at the National Cherry Festival. Kayla has never attended the festival before and “is looking forward most to the air show” on beautiful West Grand Traverse Bay with her fiancé. While watching the Blue Angels work their magic, the couple will have the opportunity to dine on delicious dishes such as Smoked Beef Brisket with Cherry-Bourbon BBQ, Blue Cheese and Cauliflower Macaroni and Cheese with Bacon Crumbs, and “Build Your Own” Cherry Shortcake.
Rachel took home two free tickets to see Martin Sexton with The Accidentals perform on June 18 this past weekend. Rachel says she didn’t have any weekend plans, but the free tickets gave her something to look forward to—a fun date night with her husband watching a stellar live performance! She was excited to have had the opportunity to listen to some of Northern Michigan’s most talented musicians work their magic on a special summer evening.
Coming up, MyNorthTickets will be having weekly drawings for free tickets to Blues, Brews, and BBQ. There will also be a ticket contest opportunity to watch the U.S Navy Blue Angels from a flight deck of the winner’s choosing!
