Cool down after a day in the sun with this inviting summer refreshment.
Make homemade cherry concentrate by boiling down pitted cherries until the juice thickens to the point of coating a spoon. Keep an eye out for locally sourced cherries at Northern Michigan farmer’s markets during late July and early August.

- 4 tablespoons 100% tart cherry juice concentrate
- 2 cups pure coconut water
- 2 cups cold water
- 6 key limes, juiced
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
Whisk all ingredients together into a pitcher or large jar. Serve chilled.
