Traverse Magazine‘s food and drink editor, Tim Tebeau, offers this recipe for Leelanau Lemon Aid, a refreshing gin-based and fruit-ridden cocktail that’ll help shake up the rest of the summer.
- 2 whole lemons, sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 ounces Cointreau
- 2 ounces Northern Latitudes Limoncello di Leelanau
- 12 ounces Northern Latitudes Jack Pine Gin
- Club soda
In a pitcher, muddle the lemon slices, sugar and Cointreau until the sugar is dissolved. Add the Limoncello and gin, stir to combine and strain into ice-filled rocks glasses.
Top with club soda and garnish with lemon wheel.
