Summary: The Maintenance/Planning Supervisor supervises total operation of the Maintenance Stock Room, the maintenance planners and is the system administrator for the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). They will ensure Inventory Control Clerks and planners on all three shifts and have the training, knowledge and resources necessary to properly perform tasks assigned to them. On occasion they may supervise daily activities of production maintenance, sanitation and shipping/receiving employees on any shift and on any day of the week as required. Additional tasks include; lead planners in the utilization of predictive maintenance technologies, lead planners in managing scheduling and prioritizingthe CMMS backlog, develop, train and manage department CMMS, predictive maintenance and scheduling processes, prioritize stock room activities to make sure the priorities, assignments and expectations are understood and met, train new employees on CMMS system, develop plans and schedules for work in the stock room, ensure people in the department have the resources (time, materials) needed to do the job, and provide coaching and guidance as needed. This position will processmaterial to be sent out for repairs and work to reduce inventory levels while reducing downtime due to part shortages. Additionally, this position will work with customers to identify opportunities and correct problems. This position willprocess vacation request for the department and process and oversee the time and attendance system. Correct entries; work with payroll on corrections. They will also oversee the annual crew member tool allowance program. This position willwork with Supervisors on their material orders if they are having problems with an order and work with crewmembers to identify development needs and to get training and or experience necessary to improve skills and abilities. Ensure crewmembers comply with regulatory requirements, GMP guidelines and plant rules. Requirements: Position requires ability to make decisions effecting operational performance. Must have ability to handle high information load. Requires review and analysis of technical information including drawings, equipment manuals, etc. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, and noise levels that exceed 85dBL. This job environment may include dust, noise, wet floors, climbing ladders and potentially slippery conditions. The job requires extended time on the production floor during production and sanitation operations. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. All job offers are based on the conditions that the candidate can provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States and pass a urinalysis screening, which is part of the post-offer health assessment. Candidate must be at least 18 years of age. Must be flexible with working hours and available for overtime when needed. Weekend work will be expected. Education: Associates Degree or higher in a technical field (engineering, mechanics, etc.) witha minimum of 5 years related professional work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Experience: Additional experience and proven record of effectively supervising people will be considered in lieu of education. Knowledge offood production processes and preventative maintenance programs a plus. Computer Skills: Excellent computer skills including database management and wireless data management.
