What we are looking for:

You are meticulous and efficient at the same time and always on the hunt for continuous improvement opportunities. Your work focus is to Make It Better across the supply chain process, helping to drive both growth and efficiency. You work daily on purchasing all of the products required to manufacture our world class pop up tents and accessories. You are a Lone Ranger in this position, which means precision, tenacity, and dependability are a must. You live within our ERP system to manage inventory and identify needs on the fly and proactively, problem solving and teamwork are your strengths!

Job duties include:

• Coordinating with vendors and the Supply Chain Manager to create and maintain purchase agreements. • Create purchase orders fast and accurate. • Maintaining strong relationships with new and existing suppliers. • Manage all freight and small carrier relationship- track shipments and file and manage claims process. • Create and maintain Standard Work documentation. • Serving and working interdepartmentally to resolve any potential issues as it relates to purchasing and inventory. • Monitoring inventory levels, delivery dates and supplier performance. • Item creation in our ERP (Kenandy). • Be a systems backup for shipping and dedicated truck quoting, always keeping a keen eye on industry pricing and systems accuracy. • Participate in Cycle Counting of inventory. • Specialty Purchasing as assigned. • Although a small piece of the business, you will be required to work with importers on managing deliveries across the border at customs and coordinate claims along the way. • Customs claims coordination • Assist in unloading freight deliveries as needed

What you need:

• A bachelor’s degree and some experience in supply chain or purchasing. • Possess strong communication skills (orally and written). • Able to prioritize work based on company needs. • The natural ability to find mistakes, think like a customer, be detail oriented and brave enough to speak up when a problem is noticed. • Experience with following ISO standard work and procedures is a plus! • Willingness to learn (be humble), take direction and RESPECT others. • Ability to keep up in a fast-paced team environment, have the ability to multi-task and reflect a positive attitude towards challenging job requirements, enthusiasm is a must! • Trustworthy, punctual and dependable. • TRUST and EXCELLENCE: execute projects without being micro managed. • TEAMWORK: work closely with a diverse set of peers to provide necessary support and capabilities. • Bonus Points: ERP experience, manufacturing experience
