Description

We are currently looking for a highly driven and motivated individual to join our Traverse City office as a Residential Security Consultant Builder. This person will be responsible for the sale of computer based security and fire equipment in the residential sector through relationships established with builders.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Analyze security needs for potential customers.

  • Generate recommendation of equipment and estimate of cost in a written proposal.

  • Assist in coordinating installation of system to customer satisfaction.

  • Demonstrating system for customer showing functions and proper operating procedures.

  • Attend vendor shows, professional associations, and training seminars to increase knowledge and establish new contacts.

  • Cold calling.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Associate Degree in Marketing or comparable experience.

  • One (1) to two (2) years of experience in Sales/Marketing position. Preferably in technical sales with an understanding of IT networking.

  • Experience in the residential builder market/established builder relationships preferred.

  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas.

  • Strong time-management, organizational skills and prioritizing abilities.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Must be able to pass criminal background, driving record and drug screen.

  • Strong customer service skills.
