What we are looking for:

You are someone who walks away from the checkout line feverishly scanning both your receipt and physical items purchased in comparison, and if you see even the tiniest discrepancy you beeline it to the customer service desk or back to the clerk to correct the error immediately. As a vertically integrated manufacturing company with lightning fast turnaround times, receiving accuracy can be the difference between meeting a customer’s need or watching them walk straight into the arms of our growing competition, so yeah, you love details and you love problem solving on the fly. The receiving Coordinator is responsible for all incoming freight and small parcel where your main job duty is to ensure accuracy of Purchase Orders upon delivery and then conduct a complete and accurate put away regimen. You will be leaned on to flex in and out of the Shipping department and other departments as necessary; you will also be responsible for cross training others in your area as our days and seasons can change demand on a dime. You must have a knack for continuous improvement and a strong desire to Make it Better.

Job duties include:

• Greet delivery drivers and help unload inventory as required • Ensure that items delivered match items on Purchase Order • Inspect incoming freight for damage; coordinate with Purchasing and Carriers on damaged goods resolution • Distribute inventory to affiliate departments • Conduct put away of the straight to inventory items • Participate in and coordinate with department leaders to ensure all daily/weekly/monthly inventory cycle counting is complete • Replenish point of use inventory items • Kit packing • The “go-to” skilled driver of the 4 Dimensional fork lift where you will also be responsible for the general maintenance • Back up Shipping Coordinator- you will be cross trained to equal proficiency as your role in Receiving • Local vendor pickup where you will drive a company vehicle • Additional duties related to the production of our products as assigned.

What you need:

• High School Diploma or GED. • Phenomenal communication and problem-solving skills, you need to basically be part time Receiving Coordinator part time Detective. • Warehousing, Shipping and Receiving or Logistics experience highly preferred. • Demonstrated technical aptitude- you must be comfortable using and learning new software and systems and be able to efficiently navigate through electronic data and communication systems without any handholding. • The ability to multitask and re-focus quickly; your schedule is randomized based on when drivers arrive, so you need to be able to stop in the middle of tasks and pick back up right where you left off quickly and efficiently. • The physical ability to lift over 50 pounds consistently and be on your feet up to 10 hours a day. • TRUST and EXCELLENCE: execute your job duties without being micro managed. • TEAMWORK: work closely with a diverse set of peers to provide necessary support, you will be asked ALOT at times to help in other areas of production. • FUN AND A LITTLE WEIRDNESS- we have a fun culture but we get a lot of stuff done, being creative and expressive with your time is encouraged along the way. • Fork Lift experience preferred
