Classification: Full-time with Benefits (A1)
Operates a Spectrum Health Hospitals aircraft and maintains authority for decision making regarding acceptance of flights as it relates to safety, mechanical and weather conditions. Assists and supports leadership in all aspects regarding corporate policy and actions. Performs duties as specified in the Spectrum Health Hospitals General Operations Manual, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Operations Specifications (OPSPECs).
Experience – Helicopter Pilots:
Two thousand hours helicopter flight experience
One thousand five hundred hours Pilot in Command with at least 200 hours unaided night, as Pilot in Command
FAA Commercial Rotorcraft / Helicopter License with Instrument endorsement Upon Hire
Current Class I or Class II FAA physical Upon Hire
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, with ratings for Rotocraft-Helicopter within 2 years of hire
Experience – EMS experience ,FAA part 135 experience
Licenses – Previous experience in aeromedical transport, Single pilot IFR and night vision goggle operations Upon Hire
