What you can expect inthis position:
Welike to think of our phlebotomists as the friendliest vampires you’ll evermeet. We train all of our phlebotomists in the techniques that will help themadvance their careers in health care, while working with a compassionate andmission-driven group of professionals.
To get you started onyour journey with us, we begin with a six-week training program. This includesfour weeks of classroom training and two weeks of mentorship with anestablished phlebotomist.
Â What you willdo:
Perform accurate medicalÂ interviewing
Determine donor eligibility
Perform venipunctures/drawÂ blood
Ensure donor and recipientÂ safety
Travel to companies, schoolsÂ and organizations in the area for public blood drives
What you will need:
A valid driver’s license inÂ good standing; access to an insured vehicle is required
A high school diploma orÂ equivalent required
A proven track record ofÂ customer service excellence
When you will work:
To serve our community,we ask that you are able to work a varied schedule, being available as early as4:00 am and as late as 10:00 pm with rotating weekends.
