The Parenting Time Visitation Support Services Program is an in-home service providing supervised parenting time for parents, allowing the interaction to take place in a safe environment while promoting healthy relationships. The program provides guidance for parent(s) and children to increase the parent’s confidence and competence in their parenting abilities to successfully nurture their children and provide them a healthy and safe environment.

Must have reliable transportation in good working order.
Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions, and personal auto insurance coverage as required by law and Agency.
Flexiblity in work schedule is necessary – an availability to families during traditional and non-traditional work hours (day, evening, weekend).
Skills in crisis intervention, assessment of potentially violent situations, and short-term goal setting.
Knowledge of family and individual theories.
Knowledge of strategies of home-based services, including a strength-based approach.
Must have a non-judgmental positive attitude toward families.
Must be able to work in partnership with other team members and/or service providers.
Must demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in the agency’s service population.
Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide services appropriate to families and children 0-18.
Must have the abililty to forge a mutually respectful partnership, with individuals and families, in which they are helped to gain skills and confidence to address issues and problems.
Must have a conviction about an individual’s/family’s capacity to change and grow.
Must have an acceptance of individual differences.
Must submit to Agency-approved pre-employment inquiries.
