Manager – Reimbursement
Salary Range:Commensurate with experience
In conjunction with the Director of Finance, the Manager of Reimbursement is responsible for organizing and performing diverse and advanced administrative duties for the Department of Finance. Assists in coordination of the hospital’s reimbursement functions and implements and managers a strategic financial planning process. Additionally, assists and aids in the preparation of the hospital’s budget and reimbursement model. Responsible for managing daily functions of the reimbursement staff.Potential to work at either the Petoskey or Flint campus.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related area. MBA or CPA preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7 years of related experience in healthcare finance.Other Job Requirements:Demonstrated superior written and oral communication skills.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Demonstrated ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Strong knowledge of word processing and spreadsheets.Colleagues in this position are expected to have access to protected health information and other confidential business information.
