Job Description

Coding Products (Kalkaska, MI) is a member of the Specialty Films division of Illinois Tool Works (NYSE: ITW), a Fortune 200 global diversified industrial manufacturer. We offer a safe work environment with a solid company that has been specializing in the development and manufacture of standard and custom printing ribbons for 40 years.

We have one Coater (machine) Operator position available on 2nd shift, working Mon – Fri 2:00-10:30pm. Starting pay is $14/hour plus $0.75/hour shift premium from 6:00p-6:00a. The primary role of this position is the setup and operation of a coating machine and associated equipment used to coat jumbo rolls of polypropylene or polyester film with a solvent-based ink per product specifications. Operators are also responsible for quality testing and troubleshooting.

Job Requirements

Our ideal candidate has a stable employment history, a positive and collaborative attitude, a desire to learn, and a demonstrated ability to work safely in producing a quality product. Prior applicable manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required. Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills are a plus. Candidates selected for employment must pass a post-offer drug screen and background check.
