For the Chef, or line cook position we are looking for a well organized individual who is a team player and has a positive attitude. Creativity is a plus, as we run daily specials, and most of our recipes are made in house. We do not have a deep fryer, and most of our cooking is done by grilling, sauteing and oven. We bake our own bread, make our own soups. A lot of our menu has been the same for quite sometime and has worked well for us, but we are definitely open to new ideas and encourage creativity. We buy a lot of food local, we also shop around for the best price, and quality. Hourly rate $11.00- $16.00, depending on experience
We are also looking to fill a dishwasher/ pep cook position. The job includes cleaning and unloading dishes, scrubbing pots and pans, helping the cooks prep food. You will aslo help organize dry storage, and have cleaning projects throughout the shift. Hourly Rate $8.50- $10.00, depending on experience.
The Old Mission Tavern has been in business, and owned by the same family since 1978. It started out as an Ice-cream shop in the late 70’s, and transformed into a restaurant with an art gallery by the mid 90’s. We have maintained a great reputation by offering quality food, and service, and as a result have a loyal customer base.
