WINTER 2018-2019 INTERNSHIP
Responsible for the preparation of all cold food for ala carte and banquet service. Assist with managing the kitchen, planning menus, purchasing foods, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining the budget. Works with Cook II and Steward in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food in accordance with specification sheets set forth by supervisors. Strives to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and handles all complaints and problems effectively and graciously. Oversees the handling of all perishable food, to minimize food waste.Â
- Enrollment in an accredited culinary school is required
- Class standing of Sophomore or above, preferred.Â
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- TAM, Servsafe, and/or TiPS certification is preferred.
