Bachelors degree required. Consideration will be given to individuals with an Associates degree and 5 years experience in the Insurance and Banking field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in PFS and 2 years working with the public. Must possess exceptional customer service skills and a high level of interpersonal communication skills.
Advanced keyboarding, spreadsheets, and database applications. Ability to use diverse applications at one time.
Must have above average verbal and written communication skills, ability to converse well on the telephone and in face-to-face situations. Must be warm, friendly, and sensitive to the feelings and concerns of others.
Ability to make credit decisions without close supervision and communicate these decisions to patients in a tactful manner.
Exceptional organizational skills.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Patient Finance. Works under the guidance of the Manager of Patient Accounts.
Has daily contact and working relationships with Patient Accounts, Business office, and Medical Records.
No managerial or supervisory responsibility.
Will be responsible to make management aware of any needs that will improve productivity, morale, or employee satisfaction.

Coordinates charity care process at Munson Medical Center.
Valuates customer records and recommends charity status based on established criteria.
Confers with other MHC business representatives, federal and local agencies to exchange credit information.
Analyzes customer credit data and financial statements to determine need for charity.
Prepares monthly charity care reports for accounting and leadership.
Makes recommendations to improve workflow among business partners.
Keeps current on emerging statewide and national trends for charity care.
Recommends other assistance programs to charity applicants as indicated.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
