Bachelorâs degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required*.Â Required to meet Program Director requirements for MI Day Care Licensing purposes.Â Must be able to get certification for CPR & first aid after hire and recertify as required. Pay may be commensurate with education.Â Minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in an Early Childhood setting.Â Experience providing adult education or training preferred.Â Must have own transportation, a valid driverâs license and vehicle insurance.Â
Supervisory responsibilities; promoting an environment of teamwork & cooperation and is accessible to staff.Â NO citation for child abuse/neglect.Â Ability to obtain CLASS certification.Â Strong organizational skills.Â Computer proficiency preferred.
Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â *Degree in a related field is defined as an associate, baccalaureate, or advance degree in a field other than child development or ECE that either includes or is supplemented by six college (2-3 semester credits each) in child development or ECE focusing or children birth to age five.
Ability to: respond to emergency situations, analyze and solve problems.Â Perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Â Complete paperwork, move and play with small children.Â Sitting, walking, stooping, squatting, lifting (up to 30 lbs.), pushing, carrying and climbing tasks.
