JOB SUMMARY

The position is responsible for advancing the NMC Alumni Relations Program. The program is designed to build pride among alumni and students, support student success, ensure a mutually beneficial relationship between NMC and our alumni, and grow charitable giving among our alumni community in support of NMC programs, facilities, and scholarships. Working as part of the NMC Foundation, alumni relations programming includes strategic communications, volunteer engagement and alumni events locally, regionally, and nationally.

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES and LICENSES

Required:

 

• Bachelor’s degree

• 2 years experience in strategic communication, volunteer engagement or a related role – Required

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to detail

 

Preferred:

 

• A solid understanding of non-profit and/or alumni relations principles and methodologies

• Demonstrated success in development, communications, alumni, or comparable programs and activities

• Experience coordinating alumni/fundraising events

• Experience working with students and/or volunteers

• Passion for relationship building, education, and nonprofit culture

WORK HOURS:

 

This is a full-time, 40+ hour per week position.
