Customer Service Representative – HME
Department:Home Medical Equipment
Salary Range:$12.18 Commensurate with experience
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service through product knowledge and service satisfaction. Representatives are responsible for effectively assisting patients, physicians, and referral sources by phone, fax, and walk-ins, and assessing patient’s needs by providing information on equipment, supplies, and services. Representatives will gather adequate information for new patients, insurance verification, maintain and update existing patient information, processing orders, and assisting customer’s with set-up and instructions on equipment ordered and/or products purchased. Responsible for inventory and demonstrating etiquette and courtesy when interfacing with customers.
Education:High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Other Job Requirements:Superior customer service skills. Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Computer knowledge and skills. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
