Works in well lighted, air-conditioned kitchen and nursing unit. Walks and stands most of the time while on duty. May be subject to elements of time pressure and interruptions of activities. May be asked to rotate shifts and lift more than 35 pounds. Responsible for ware washing of all meal dishes.
High school education or equivalent.
Must have serve safe certification; facility will provide education and recertification if needed.
Demonstrates effective skills in all levels of food preparation, storage, and presentation. Ability to read and adjust recipes and understands food rotation.
Two-year experience a must.
Eight-hour shift or more, possibly mornings or afternoons.
