A Bachelorâs degree from an accredited university is preferred. A degree in Industrial Engineering, Nursing or other health care discipline, Computer Science or Business is preferred.
A minimum of three years process redesign experience including project leadership experience is required. Requires the ability to understand and apply various tools and techniques of performance improvement, including Lean / Six Sigma, to work processes. Prior health care experience in clinical process re-design and provider order entry systems preferred.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and must communicate and interact effectively with employees from all levels within the organization. Must have the ability to evaluate and discuss departmental issues in an objective and non-threatening manner. Must be passionate about improving processes able to facilitate positive change. Must have excellent speaking and presentation skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with desktop computing and Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint is required. Experience with statistics and simulation / business modeling software preferred.
ORGANIZATION This position is under the supervision of the Director of the Performance Services department. This position may also receive assignments from project leads and sponsors.
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility, although may give direction to other department members in the course of project management.
