Position Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), review, analyze and evaluate existing business processes and user needs as they relate to business systems. Work with a variety of managers to define and document business system requirements. Guide the selection of a solution by reviewing available solution options. Upon implementation of the solution, ensure all related information and processes are successfully integrated. Provide ongoing system support, identifying any additional reporting needs and ongoing process improvements needed to optimize and maintain the system(s).

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of IT software projects.

  • Facilitate meetings with system managers/owners to develop a comprehensive list of system requirements.

  • Identify systems that appropriately fit the needs of the business and work with implementation team to analyze and identify the best possible solution.

  • Complete analysis of existing methods to promote effective operations through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuance, or other methods. Complete recommendations for business processes that ensure alignment with strategic direction; integrate business processes between multiple lines of business.

  • Lead the implementation of new systems, ensuring project adheres to budget and time frame guidelines and meets business needs. This includes all aspects of project management from tracking, training, communication, and implementation of the solution at all relevant locations.

  • Work with IT department and users to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, then manage, prioritize and implement.

  • Continue to support the system following implementation.

  • Develop or validate test plan.

  • Work with customers during system testing and manage defect tracking process.

  • Ensure service meets agreed-upon levels.

  • Coordinate the successful execution of application/system upgrades.

  • Manage application enhancements.

  • Assist in problem analysis and resolution.

  • Remain up to date on technological developments and applications.

  • Provide on-call support and adhere to a flexible schedule as needed.

  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Assist with other projects as assigned.

  • Maintains highest standards of honesty and integrity. Maintains confidentiality of employee, customer and corporate information.


  • MUST HAVE 3 + years of acting as a Business Systems Analyst with systems implementation experience in the IT related field.

  • MUST HAVE 2 + years of working knowledge / hands-on experience with Structured Query Language (SQL).

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university with a preference of an IT related field preferred.

  • Experience in a Health Care environment and familiarity with HIPAA, preferred.

  • Knowledge of / familiarity with Tableau preferred.

  • Effective customer relation skills.

  • Ability to work with interruptions and to manage multiple priorities.

  • Ability to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work unsupervised.

  • Ability to handle conflicts and get along with people.

  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor at all times.

  • Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

  • Should possess above average knowledge/experience using a computer and software. (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Dentrix, and Internet).

  • Experience with facilitation, problem solving, and presentation skills.
