Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Subscription Questions

When will my subscription begin?

Your order is processed by Traverse Magazine immediately. We ship via the U.S. Postal Service using their periodicals mail service. Your first issue should arrive within 6-8 weeks of receipt of your order. If you have not received your first issue within eight weeks please notify us at Subscriber Services or call our customer service department at 1-800-785-8632 weekdays between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. EST.

When does my subscription expire?

Check your magazine address label. On the line above your name you will find the expiration date (the last issue date) of your current subscription. The sample label below shows an end date of December 2000.

#00061163/2# TRAV DEC-00 JOHN DOE
123 MAIN ST ANYTOWN, XX 12345-6789

Note: because we print magazine labels in advance, your label may not reflect a recent address change or renewal order.

I will be moving soon. How do I change my address?

Whether your move is permanent or seasonal we need to know your whereabouts so your magazine can follow you. Please notify us online 6-8 weeks in advance at Subscriber Services.

How can I stop getting duplicate copies of Traverse?

If you are getting two copies of the same issue please notify us. We will need the account numbers from both magazine labels as well as your name and address as they appear on the labels. You may notify us at Subscriber Services or by calling 1-800-785-8632.

What should I do if my issue arrives late, damaged or not at all?

Simply notify us online at Subscriber Services. Let us know which issue is in question and where to send a replacement. We’ll send a replacement if supplies permit, or extend your subscription an additional issue.

I’ve paid for my subscription, but bills keep coming. What should I do?

If you receive one bill after you have paid, please disregard it. Sometimes a bill will go out just before a payment is processed. If you receive a second bill, we suggest you email our customer service department or call toll-free to clear up the matter.

Why do I see the current issue on newsstands before my own copy arrives in my mailbox?

You should receive your personal copy before the issue hits the newsstands. However, delivery times for magazines via the U.S. Postal Service are beyond our control. If you are experiencing chronic slow delivery please notify our circulation department via email.
