The Young Friends of the Jordan Summer Program is a one-of-a-kind outdoor learning experience in and around the beautiful Jordan River Valley. We provide hands-on nature studies where participants are led more than taught; urged to observe and ask their own questions; encouraged to discover the magic of our natural world while gaining knowledge of place. We’ll explore the diverse relationships between plants and animals and how we too fit into the landscape by learning about helpful and interesting plants, how to interpret tracks and sign and playing games that immerse us in nature.
The Summer Program meets Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 3 PM. Registration is now open for children entering 3rd to 8th grade. Registration costs $60 per child with a maximum charge of $100 per family. Scholarships are available.
Session II runs from July 25th until August 5th.
