Volunteer Stream Monitoring – Training Day
9:00am – 1:00pm
Tip of the Mitt Watershed Council, 426 Bay Street, Petoskey
Come learn about the various aspects of our stream monitoring program, general macroinvertebrate biology, and the equipment used to collect important data about the health of our local streams. A hands-on practicum on the Bear River is included so that volunteers can “get their feet wet” before going into the field. For more information about the training, please contact Kevin Cronk.
No experience necessary, just a passion for protecting Northern Michigan’s water resources. Pre-register for this event by calling 231-347-1181 or email Kevin Cronk, [email protected]
