Visitors to the Merry Makers Marketplace can shop paintings and prints, pottery, jewelry, cozy winter accessories, ornaments, ceramics, cards, and more. A series of holiday craft workshops will be offered throughout the event, including cowl weaving, copper jewelry, and paper quilling. Details can be found online at www.crookedtree.org/merry.
The marketplace will be open Friday, November 17, from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday, November 18 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies will be served.
“This is our second year presenting Merry Makers Marketplace in Traverse City,” says Kristi Wodek, CTAC-TC education and outreach director. “We’re very excited about the variety of artists who will be here, as well as the new addition of the holiday workshops — many of which welcome parents and grandparents with kids.”
Crooked Tree Arts Center will also present a Merry Makers Marketplace at its Petoskey location on November 24-25.
