Join us for an another NMCAC Community Dinner on Tuesday, March 25th at 6:00 p.m.
A panel discussion – led by a trio of noted environmentalists – will define the crucial role trees play in water quality at the Tuesday, March 25 Community Dinner Event at Grow Benzie. A flavorful dinner prepared by members of the Northern Michigan Culinary Arts Community (NMCAC) will be served at 6:00 P.M. – starting an hour later than usual – and followed by this special panel presentation.
The meal will be prepared in Grow Benzie’s Commercial Incubator Kitchen and served in Big Blue, the main building at 5885 Frankfort Highway (M-115) in Benzonia. All meal offerings, made from scratch with the help of local volunteers, will feature many locally-produced ingredients. An entrée and side offerings of salad, breads, beverages and dessert are included in the meal. A suggested donation of $8 per person will be directed to the NMCAC Culinary Scholarship Fund that is awarded each year to a worthy Benzie County student. If county schools are closed, dinners will be canceled and postponed to a later date.
The partnership between NMCAC and Grow Benzie partnership continues to welcome all – no one will be turned away – and is delighted community residents are participating in these events. Please consider making a non-binding RSVP, as this is helpful in preparing the foods needed for the occasion. You may reply to NMCAC at [email protected], [email protected] or Deb Query, director, Grow Benzie at (231) 882-5197.
