Summer Drop-in Activities at Crooked Tree Arts Center
This summer, Crooked Tree Arts Center has filled its weeks and spaces with a variety of drop-in activities for all ages. Most activities are free, but some do request nominal donations.
Wednesdays, from 10 a.m. to Noon, join instructor Jennifer Nowak for “Open Studio.” This is a time for artists of all ages to make art in a fun studio atmosphere with abundant materials for exploration. Each visit is unique; the studio will be set up with different projects and activities every Wednesday this summer. All supplies are provided, and a $5 donation is requested. “Open Studio” runs through August 29.
Join Crooked Tree for other drop-in activities like “Drop-in & Draw” on select Mondays; “Point, Zoom, Click,” a photography workshop on select Wednesdays; and “Living Artfully Lectures & Workshops” on select Thursdays.
During the month of August, drop-in activities grow to include “Mom & Me Finger Knitting” on Tuesdays; “Uke ‘n Do It!” ukulele classes on Tuesdays; “Knitting from the Beginning” on Thursdays; and “Try it! Piano for Beginners” on Fridays. Both knitting classes request a $5 donation.
