Nate Richardson

Restoration work at Arcadia Marsh includes seed collection and redistribution. The goal is to reseed areas that were once comprised solely of invasive grasses such as Reed Canary and Phragmites with native species and to increase overall species diversity. By assisting with native seed gathering you can help keep the project rolling!

We will be collecting Blue Joint Grass seeds from the Marsh and would love for you to join. The work day will be an enjoyable way to learn about the restoration project. GTRLC Preserve Steward Angie will be leading the day and is a wealth of knowledge so you will no doubt learn about the birds and other plants you bump into as well!
