Everyone is invited to enjoy a free scoop of Hudsonville’s creamy, homemade ice cream at Houghton Lake Public Library where, for one day and one day only, everyone will be allowed to SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!
Bring your favorite group (friends and family) to present your best scream, cheer, song or poem relating to Michigan, ice cream or reading, and present it in 3 minutes or less! Judges will determine the BEST SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM @ THE LIBRARY!
Winners take home a $20 gift certificate for Hudsonville Ice Cream and a free Recreation Passport valued at $10, but everyone gets ice cream!
Watch for the “Passport to Summer RV Tour” as they roll in at the library and dish up Pure Michigan Caramel Apple, the new, limited-edition ice cream flavor of Michigan state parks.
The Department of Natural Resources, Hudsonville Ice Cream, Pure Michigan, General RV and Meijer are bringing this custom-decorated, 32-foot RV carrying free ice cream to the library.
