Free SCORE Workshop will “Assess Your Entrepreneurial Skills” —
Traverse City’s award-winning SCORE chapter announces a free workshop for aspiring entrepreneurs on Thursday, Oct. 5, from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. The workshop, “Assess Your Entrepreneurial Skills,” will be held in the McGuire Community Room at the Traverse Area District Library on Woodmere Avenue.
At this workshop, attendees will discuss their individual results of the Entrepreneur Index Personal Assessment. This assessment is to be taken online prior to the workshop, a $35 value that is free to the first 20 participants. Results will be discussed with specially trained SCORE Traverse City mentors, who are the exclusive workshop providers for this content in our region.
“SCORE Traverse City is very excited to provide a new tool which we feel will make a real difference in the success of our local entrepreneurs,” says Rita Miller, certified SCORE Mentor.
“Participants will take an online assessment that will match them to 12 core traits that are highly correlated to successful and satisfied entrepreneurs. The workshop will provide an in-depth discussion of the traits and how both hopeful and current entrepreneurs can use the results to identify their strengths as well as potential blind spots to be more successful,” says Miller.
Attendees Will Learn the 12 traits of successful entrepreneurs and how to identify your entrepreneurial strengths, your challenges and ways to improve going forward.
