The wine festival follows the dog parade and is both dog and kid friendly — dogs and children five and under get in free, children over the age of six are $5. We open at 1 p.m. and will run until 7 p.m. accompanied by the music of Big Boss Blues from Kalamazoo. As always we’ll have great food, a beautiful view of the Northport Harbor and the wonderful wines, beers and ciders produced north of M-204 in Leelanau County, one of Michigan’s best wine regions.
This year the festival features wines, ciders and beers made in northern Leelanau County, Michigan and we’re proudly carrying on a tradition that has been going strong for 33 years.
The Northport Wine Festival exclusively features wines, ciders and beers from the Northern Wine Loop. Members of the wine loop include:
Gill’s Pier Vineyard and Winery
Good Neighbor Organic Winery
