North Central Michigan College’s Luncheon Lecture will take a look at concussions in sports on Friday, November 17. The program will be held in the Library Conference Center on the Petoskey campus. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at noon.
Lindsey Griffes who serves as Petoskey High School’s certified athletic trainer, and Dr. Dennis McGeath of Petoskey Pediatrics, will talk about the growing understanding of the brain injuries that athletes of all ages can sustain in a variety of sports and the potential lifetime impacts that can result.
