North Central Michigan College’s Lecture Series will feature Dr. Elizabeth Del Buono, a surgical pathologist from Munson Medical Center on Tuesday, November 29 at 7 p.m. in North Central’s Iron Horse Café (cafeteria) in the Student Center on the Petoskey campus. This lecture is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
Elizabeth Del Buono, M.D., will review the health impacts of climate change, explain why it is necessary to address these issues, and suggest policies that health professionals and others should support in order to transition quickly to a low-carbon economy. Dr. Del Buono is a volunteer with a local chapter of the non-partisan grassroots group Citizens’ Climate Lobby.
Admission is free, but tickets are required. Tickets are available in Petoskey at the North Central Michigan College Welcome Desk in the main administrative building, in the College Library and in the College Store in the Student and Community Resource Center.
