North Central Michigan College’s Corporate and Community Education department is offering spring farming and gardening workshops in Petoskey. All workshops are held in Room 536 in the Student and Community Resource Center.
Go on a field walk on Tuesday, May 2, with herbalist, Sierra Bigham, and learn many of the common, local plants and their edible and medicinal uses. This class will cover identification techniques and sustainable wild harvesting practices and will explore a wide variety of plants. Class runs 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. and cost is $20.
