Murder at the Speakeasy
The public is invited to join Grand Traverse Resort and Spa in Acme on Saturday, April 1 for a Murder Mystery Dinner. The dinner will have a Roaring ‘20s theme with the title, “Murder at the Speakeasy.”
Tickets are $50 for an individual, $90 for a couple or $450 for a table of ten. Tickets are available online, simply click the button below . Seating is limited, so please purchase tickets in advance. Persons must be 21 years old or older to attend this event. Prices do not include MyNorthTickets ticketing fee.
The drama begins in the Resort’s Michigan Ballroom with an opening reception from 5 to 6 p.m. featuring prohibition-era cocktails like the Old Fashioned, Gin Spritzer, and Rum Runner. Dinner and the murder mystery show will begin at 6 p.m. and conclude by 8 p.m. As the murder mystery plays out, guests will enjoy a delicious four-course dinner, featuring Pepper Crusted Roasted Beef Sirloin, Paella, Penne Pasta, Caprese Salad, and a warm Bourbon Pecan Tart that would delight the most hardcore gangster.
1920s attire is encouraged to make this murderous mayhem even more fun. Dress for this night of murderous mayhem includes flapper dresses, zoot suits, feather boas and headbands, pinstriped suits and fedoras. The Resort will reward the “Best Dressed Man” and the “Best Dressed Woman” with a $100 Resort gift card during the show. If you aren’t feeling that jive you can dress as a private detective to help solve the crime, just don’t frame the wrong guy because in addition to a prize for the best dressed male and female, the fastest detective will walk away with a prize and all guests will walk away with their own complimentary mugshot and a night to remember.
