Benzie County resident Abby Beale continues with her monthly nutrition class series with the third in a series of eight, focusing on Mineral Balance: The role of minerals and why we need to keep them in balance. Each of Beal’s classes includes a refresher about what a nutrient dense, properly prepared whole food diet is, as well as a review of digestion and digestion dysfunction.
Abbey has worked as an accountant for 28 years, but her true passion has been nutrition and wellness, particularly as it relates to diet and health goals. Nine months ago, Beale decided she wanted to channel that passion in the direction of a new career and enrolled in a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner program with the Nutritional Therapy Association. She recently received her program certification.
