The Local Food Alliance of Northern Michigan and North Central Michigan College will host a community conversation about how food and farming contribute to the regional economy and quality of life. Laura Goddeeris, MSU Center for Regional Food Systems planning specialist, will share lessons learned from communities where local food and farm businesses thrive and discuss policies and practices to support local food-farming businesses in our region.
