Traverse City’s Leadership Lunch Club continues its speaker series at 11 a.m. on February 12 at the Traverse City Country Club with a presentation on leadership succession featuring Black Star Farms’ outgoing partner Don Coe, owner Kerm Campbell and CFO and Director of Operations Michael Lahti.
The event will be an opportunity for the Grand Traverse community to hear Coe and Campbell discuss how they built the winery into an agricultural destination and how they’ve been planning for the leadership transition now taking place.
Coe and Lahti will tell how they have developed a successful two-way mentoring process to create a smooth leadership transition while maintaining the culture that has made Black Star Farms a top agricultural destination and will learn why the winery is an inspiring example of how companies can prepare for future leadership change. The event also will provide an opportunity to extend personal well wishes to Don and the new team.
Tickets are $39. For tickets or further details, visit www.leadershiplunchclub.com or call 231-735-8290.
