Lakeside Shakespeare Holds Education Workshop at Oliver Art Center in Frankfort

July 17-19, 1-3pm: Young Adult Workshop for ages 12-14.

With Shakespeare’s Richard III as our template, students help create a parody of one of Shakespeare’s most dramatic history plays. Join us for three days of Shakespeare, sword play and witty repartee with a guaranteed performance on the Lakeside Shakespeare Theatre stage on July 19, 6:30pm!

This workshop take place at Oliver Art Center, 132 Coast Guard Rd., Frankfort. The performance is held at LST’s performance space on Tank Hill.

July 22-24, 11am-1pm: Children’s Workshop is for ages 5-8 years.

July 23-25, 1-3pm: Children’s Workshop is for ages 9-11years.

Using Shakespearean themes, characters and language, this year’s children’s workshops aim to be as creative as Shakespeare himself! From comedy to drama-dy, join our fantastic educational staff in this 3-day Shakespearience, which culminates in a final performance on the Lakeside Shakespeare stage at 6:30pm!

Both workshops and their performances are held at LST’s performance space on Tank Hill so bring sunscreen and bug spray accordingly.
