Participants will become familiar with the tools and equipment used in fly tying. You will learn about hooks, thread, and materials used for flies. Eric will teach how to properly proportion a fly, and teach participants a variety of basic techniques that are essential to becoming a great fly tier, including how to tie a woolly bugger pattern, which is one of the best fly patterns to catch a variety of fish (tying the woolly bugger offers many of the necessary skills to tie many other fly patterns). Even experienced fly tiers will learn a few new tips and techniques that will help them in their own tying.

Registration is required and space is limited!
Sign up on our website or call us at 231-237-7340 to register.
All equipment and materials will be provided.
