Jazz Lab, Music and Movie Appreciation sessions are held the 2nd Wednesday of each month at the Saugatuck Brewing Company.

At each session, recorded music or jazz movies and documentaries are presented. The music takes the shape of various topics, themes, musicians, instruments, genres or eras selected by the guests and participants. The color “blue” or the term “blues” used to describe a mood or music category appear in the titles of songs and tunes throughout the history of jazz, however, other colors have also been used in musical titles.

Tonight’s program: Alter Egos, or The Exploration of the Humanization of the Application of the Chicken and Egg Theory in Relation to Music.

Sessions are free.

The Saugatuck-Douglas area is southwest of Grand Rapids, on Lake Michigan, where I-196 becomes U.S.-31.
