TOPIC: Rain Gardens

If you like the idea of beautifying your landscape while protecting water quality at the same time, then come learn how to design and install a rain garden. As one example of what is known as green infrastructure, rain gardens capture and clean pollutants from rooftop, driveway, and sidewalk runoff. Simple yet effective, rain gardens are becoming increasingly popular among homeowners. With just a few months to go before spring, you should have just enough time to plan your own.

There is no charge to attend our Ice Breaker winter speaker series, but donations are welcome. All sessions are open to the public. Coffee/tea will be available. Limited seating available though, so pre-registration is highly recommended. To register for this event, please call (231) 347-1181.
