Hi, story fans! Get comfy, we’ve much to tell you.
Public Service Announcement…..
We learn a lot from our own mistakes and challenges. On April 16, Here:Say’s scheduled performers have true tales to tell us in hopes that we, too, will learn from their mistakes and challenges. Come to The Workshop Brewing Company for stories by Simon Joseph, Jen Loup, Elon Cameron, Chris Lemanski, and Jeff Smith, featuring emcee Karen Stein.
Arrive early to grab some eats and a seat. Stories begin at 7. Suggested $5 donation at door.
One More Open Mic Til October…
We’ve been having a great time at our open mics! The last of the season is Monday, May 7, but we will be offering a FULL season of open mics, starting in October. How do open mics work? Check out our event listing on Facebook.
Most great stories have some sort of conflict, but what if the conflict is the story? There are openings in the lineup for the May show, Toe to Toe. Learn about the Here:Say pitch process here.
Get on Your Bikes and Ride
We’re teaming up with Norte for the second year in a row to kick off TC Rides, the slow community bike ride. We’ll meet at F&M Park at 6:45pm on Wednesday, May 30, with a mobile stage and bike to several area parks with breaks to hear bicycle stories. Have a bicycle story to pitch? Act fast, there are only 4 slots on the lineup available for this one.
