Learn about Anthony Curis’ and Matthew Eaton’s contributions to the Detroit landscape through art.

Anthony Curis – real estate developer, food truck owner, former model, partner of Guns and Butter, the Detroit pop-up restaurant, founder of Library Street Collective and board member of Heidelberg Project.  He’s done it all and doing it all in Detroit!

California-born and London, England raised, artist Matthew Eaton is the director/curator or Red Bull House of Art in Detroit, an arts residency program that supports and exhibits local artists, Co-Director of the Detroit Beautification Project, a Detroit-based mural initiative that has spawned over 80 murals by 41 artists from around the world, Director of Detroit-based CONTRAprojects, as street-focused arts program, and Partner in Detroit’s premier modern and contemporary art gallery, Library Street Collective.

Library Street Collective specializes in cutting edge modern and contemporary fine art with a primary focus on artists who have developed their skills and visual art in public spaces.  A funky marriage of parking garage and art gallery, the Z Site blends 1,300 parking spots with the work of 27 mural artists from across the globe.  Called The Z (because it zigzags the corners of Broadway and East Grand River, and Library and Gratiot), the garage is a collaboration between Bedrock Real Estate Services and Library Street Collective.

Red Bull House of Art breaks down the barriers between artists and their next greatest body of work by removing financial and institutional constraints and presenting the tools, space and wings necessary to unleash their utmost creative side to the world.  House of Art was born in Brazil in 2010 and is currently reinvented with every new set of creatives in Detroit.
