The Historic Barns Park at the Grand Traverse Commons
1490 Red Drive
Traverse City, MI United States

Come join us for a viticulture workshop led by Dr. Duke Elsner, Small Fruit Educator at Michigan State University Extension, and learn to cultivate your own grapes!  Learn about the qualities of different cultivars, basics of propagation and care, and even about making your own vintage.  We’ll get into the practice a bit as we plant vines and set up trellis at the SEEDS Farm.  The workshop price is a $15 suggested donation.

Directions to the SEEDS Farm at the Historic Barns

From Silver Lake Road, turn right at the light and take the first sharp left to the SEEDS Farm, or from 11th Street, drive past Stella’s and the TBAISD and watch for the sharp right before the light. Proceed on foot to the gardens, just below the two large barns.
